Climate

Climate: The weather in Zhejiang features a monsoon season, temperate climate, abundant sunshine and rainfall, humidity and typhoons. The average annual temperature of Zhejiang Province is about 18 °C (64 °F), with an average July temperature of 27-30 °C (81-86 °F), and an average January temperature of 2-8°C (36-46 °F). The annual average rainfall of the province is about 1000mm to 1900mm, and its annual average sunshine time is about 1710 hours to 2100 hours.
Usually spring starts in March, with the average temperature between 9-15 °C (48-59 °F), April and May are the best time for visiting Zhejiang. Meiyu Season is from the end of June to early July. In late summer, typhoons occur with a high frequency, bringing heavy rains. September and October feature excellent weather when clear skies and refreshing air can be enjoyed almost every day. In winter, on the other hand, the city suffers from the cold, since most places are not equipped with heating systems.

Transportation

Transport:Lishe International Airport (NGB) lies to the southwest of Ningbo City, 11 kilometers (about 6.8 kilometers) away from the urban area. It was put into use in 1990. Now, the airport has opened up to Hong Kong, Seoul as well as dozens of large and medium cities in China like Shanghai, Beijing, Kunming and Shenzhen.
To get to the airport from the urban area, one could take the shuttle bus.
